InspectGo is a professional property inspection and report delivery service. It helps authorised users organise properties, capture room evidence, review findings, generate reports and deliver those reports to selected recipients. We design the service around purpose-limited access and do not use inspection information for behavioural advertising.

1. About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the InspectGo mobile application, related application programming interfaces and the services used to process inspections and reports (together, the “Service”).

The legal entity name used in this policy is InspectGo (“InspectGo”, “we”, “us” or “our”). InspectGo provides the Service through the registered operating entities listed below. The operating entity responsible for a customer relationship and for handling a privacy request depends on the region in which the customer account is established:

  • Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and other global regions FORENTX TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD., incorporated in Singapore (Registration No. 202524733C).
  • Malaysia FORENTX TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD., incorporated in Malaysia (Registration No. 202501044235 / 1645643-A).

If a customer agreement identifies a different responsible entity, that agreement will control for the relevant customer relationship. Depending on how an organisation uses InspectGo, that organisation may also be responsible for deciding why property, tenant or client information is entered into the Service. Questions about information provided by your employer or property manager may therefore need to be directed to that organisation as well as to us.

No advertising profiles We do not build profiles for third-party advertising.
No sale of personal information We do not sell personal information handled by InspectGo.
Human review remains central AI suggestions are advisory and require review.

2. Information we collect

The information handled depends on the features you use and the data your organisation adds to an inspection.

  • Account and authentication information Email address, display name, account status, email verification status, encrypted or hashed authentication credentials, one-time verification records and session records. We do not store your password in readable form.
  • Property and tenancy information Property name and address, property category, room and asset layouts, lease references and dates, tenant or contact names and email addresses, and other information required to prepare an inspection or report.
  • Inspection evidence and observations Room videos recorded without audio, evidence photographs, capture timestamps, marked moments, equipment working checks, condition and cleanliness observations, notes, comments and retake history.
  • Review and report information AI-assisted findings, evidence selected for review, reviewer decisions and comments, acknowledgements, report versions, PDF documents, delivery status and the email addresses of report recipients selected by an authorised user.
  • Technical and service information Request identifiers, request route and result, timestamps, app and device platform information, transfer status and limited diagnostic information needed to secure, maintain and troubleshoot the Service. InspectGo does not include a third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDK in the current mobile application.
  • Information stored on your device A protected sign-in session, a remembered email address for up to seven days, resumable capture checkpoints and local copies of videos or photos awaiting successful upload, retry or deliberate discard.

Inspection media may incidentally capture people, personal possessions, documents or other sensitive details visible inside a property. Users should avoid recording people or information that is not reasonably required for the inspection and should obtain any authority or notice required before recording at a property.

3. Device permissions and features

InspectGo requests access only when a feature needs it. You can change permissions in your device settings, although disabling a required permission may prevent that feature from working.

Permission or feature How InspectGo uses it
Camera Requested Records room inspection videos and captures evidence photos when you choose to use a capture feature.
Microphone Not requested The current application disables audio recording. Inspection videos are recorded without sound.
Motion sensor During capture Uses short-lived accelerometer samples to warn about excessive camera movement. Raw motion samples are not retained between captures or uploaded by this feature.
Network access Required Signs in, synchronises inspection records, securely transfers media, retrieves review data and accesses reports. Local network access is used only by development builds, not the App Store build.
Photos library and location Not requested The current application does not request access to your photo library or precise location. Property addresses are information entered into the Service, not obtained from device location.

4. How we use information

We use information described in this policy to:

  • create, verify, secure and maintain user accounts and sessions;
  • organise properties, leases, rooms, assets and inspection history;
  • capture, upload, process and display inspection evidence;
  • provide AI-assisted analysis and support human review;
  • prepare, version, display, download and email inspection reports;
  • resume interrupted transfers and protect work captured on a device;
  • prevent unauthorised access, investigate errors and maintain reliability;
  • meet legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests; and
  • communicate about authentication, service operation and privacy requests.

We process this information to provide the Service requested by users and their organisations, to pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing a professional inspection platform, to comply with law, and, where required, with consent.

5. AI-assisted analysis

InspectGo may send captured room video and the related inspection context to a configured AI service provider to identify potential observations and candidate evidence. The resulting suggestions are stored with the inspection so an authorised reviewer can assess them.

AI-generated observations are advisory. They do not automatically become final inspection findings. An authorised user reviews and confirms the relevant evidence and report content before delivery.

Users should not include unrelated sensitive information in inspection recordings. We require service providers to process submitted data for the contracted service and subject to applicable confidentiality and security obligations.

6. When we share information

We may disclose information only as reasonably needed to:

  • Authorised organisation users: make inspection records, evidence, reviews and reports available to users permitted to work on them;
  • Selected report recipients: deliver a report to the email addresses an authorised user enters or confirms;
  • Service providers: use contracted hosting, database, private object storage, email delivery and AI processing services that support InspectGo;
  • Legal and safety purposes: comply with law, court orders or lawful government requests, or protect rights, safety and Service security; and
  • Business changes: support a merger, acquisition or restructuring subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

We do not sell personal information, share it with data brokers or use inspection content for third-party behavioural advertising.

7. Storage, security and retention

Storage and security

InspectGo uses access-controlled accounts, protected session storage, private media storage, time-limited media access, encrypted network transport in production, password hashing and account-scoped access controls. We also limit operational logs so they do not contain passwords, session tokens, authentication codes, signed media links, email bodies or raw inspection media.

No security measure can eliminate every risk. Users should protect their device and sign-in details and notify us promptly if they suspect unauthorised access.

Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Service, preserve required inspection and report records, resolve disputes, maintain security and meet legal obligations. Retention may also be set by the organisation responsible for a property record.

  • Account sessions ordinarily expire after 30 days unless revoked earlier.
  • A remembered login email is stored securely on the device for up to seven days.
  • One-time authentication and recovery codes are short-lived and cannot be reused.
  • Local capture media is retained while an upload is pending or paused and is removed after successful submission or when the user deliberately discards it.
  • Final inspection records, report versions and audit history may need to be retained for contractual, operational or legal recordkeeping periods.

When information is no longer required, we delete it or de-identify it, subject to backups and records that must be retained by law.

8. International processing

Our operating entities are located in Singapore and Malaysia. InspectGo and its contracted service providers may process information in Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and in other countries where those providers operate. Privacy and data protection laws in those locations may differ from those in your location. Where required, we use contractual, organisational and technical safeguards for cross-border processing. You may contact us for current information about relevant provider locations and safeguards.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law and any lawful recordkeeping requirements, you may:

  • request access to personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • request deletion or restriction of eligible information;
  • request account closure and revocation of active sessions;
  • object to or ask questions about certain processing;
  • withdraw a device permission through your device settings; and
  • make a privacy complaint without being treated unfairly.

To protect account and property information, we may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. If your account is managed by an organisation, we may refer the request to that organisation. Some inspection and tenancy records cannot be immediately erased where they must be kept for legal claims, audit integrity or statutory recordkeeping.

10. Children

InspectGo is a professional business service and is not directed to children under 18. Users must not create an account for a child or intentionally record a child unless the recording is necessary and lawful for the inspection and all required authority and notices have been obtained. Contact us if you believe a child’s information has been included improperly.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Service, providers or legal obligations change. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date and, where required, provide additional notice in the app or by email. Material changes will not apply retrospectively where the law prohibits this.

12. Contact and complaints

Contact us to exercise a privacy right, ask a question or make a complaint. Please describe your request and your relationship to the relevant InspectGo account or property, but do not email passwords, verification codes or copies of sensitive inspection evidence unless we provide a secure method.
